One of our club's primary functions is training. Each meeting or event contains a training element. We also provide Technician and General Class license training and testing. Our success rate is over 98%!

 Upcoming Technician Class

Our next Technician Class will be held in _______ (after the next CERT class). The classes will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning _____. Classes are held at the North Richland Hills Fire Administration Building, 7202 Dick Fisher Drive, North Richland Hills, 76182 (See Map on Meeting Page). They will start at 6:30 and run until 10:00 pm.

The cost is $3.00 for the class and $14* cash for the exam, per student.  The book used is Gordon West's Technician Study Manual 2010 - 2014.  The books cost about $20.00, and are available at Fry's, or on-line at W5YI.  We will also be selling copies.  

For Technician classes, the first three Wednesday evenings will be classes, teaching the more technical areas and reviewing the questions and answers in the book.  The final evening will be review at the beginning, with the exam at the end.
